TEENS - TRENDSETTERS

The teens of the Greater Union County Chapter (GUCC) are a dynamic and integral part of our organization, actively engaging in a wide range of programs throughout the year. They are deeply committed to both community service and fostering connections with fellow teen chapters within GUCC. These young men and women are not only self-driven but also deeply dedicated to the overarching mission of the National organization.

Every year, our teens take the lead in planning their own educational, cultural, civic, and social activities. Under the guidance of TEEN Advisors Chaunte Smith and Kalisha Morgan, they conduct monthly meetings following Robert's Rules of Order. This approach empowers them to acquire vital leadership skills that will serve them well in their future careers after completing college.

An annual highlight for our teens is their participation in the Eastern Regional Teen Conference. This conference serves as a platform for teenage children to create and partake in constructive educational, recreational, and social programs tailored by and for teens in a specific geographical area. During this event, we honor our graduating seniors and other accomplished teen members for their remarkable contributions.
